Our Story
THE NEED FOR INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
A lack of plumbing infrastructure has left approximately 70% of India with inadequate access to sanitation methods. Current options occupy too much space, are too expensive, and aren't built for removing waste from the environment. SaniSolv is working to add innovative solutions to the growing body of sanitation research in an effort to accelerate the pace of slum development across the developing world.
OUR SOLUTIONS
We are working to develop and test a low-cost waterless toilet, a waste processing system, and a waste dewatering pump.
FOSTERING GROWTH
We plan to open source our research and development, in order to provide accessibility to our work to all parties invested in sanitation development. We believe that there is no one size fits all solution to rural sanitation, and encourage slum development organizations to consult with us on how our solutions can be best adapted to fit their specific needs.
